The space in trans women/men is a bit of a recent thing - it seems to have become a big deal in the last couple of years.
I look back at some of my very first LJ entries, and some of the terminology I'm using back then is kinda embarrassing. I guess immersion in a thing makes it second nature though.
FWIW, I think you're a fantastic ally to trans people, and I for one really appreciate it, so thank you. If I notice anything, I'll be sure to say though :-)
